Carlos Hernandez

Ms.Sc. Student - Department of Agronomy

Kansas State University

Biography

Carlos Hernández is an Ms Student and Graduate Research Assistant at the Ciampitti Lab of the Department of Agronomy at Kansas State University. He focused on applying and developing technology in agriculture to improve processes and increase productive efficiency.

My beginnings were marked by a strong background in Precision Ag, developing field trials analysis and variable management of inputs such as fertilizers and density, in crops such as corn and soybeans.

In recent years I have been using concepts of crop science, remote sensing, data science, crop modeling, big data and machine learning with the aim of creating models in predictive agriculture approaches, which serve as a tool in decision making for producers and stackholders.
